Sponsors and saint’s name need to be done by January 31, 2008. Call Therese, if it isn’t done.

This letter should be read by both students and parents.

To Confirmation Students and their Parents:

Our Confirmation Mass will take place at 1:30 on Sunday, March 30. (That’s the week after Easter). We have MUCH to do before then and we especially need the assistance of our parents and sponsors to make this happen. Please MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the following important and required items and activities:

·March 16 is the Seder Meal (be there at 4:30). Sponsor (or parent) need to accompany students to this event.

·March 17 (Monday): Communal Penance. Confirmation candidates are asked to go to Reconciliation prior to Confirmation. Parents/sponsors are encouraged to go as well! Three priests will be with us.

·March 19 (Wednesday): Confirmation Practice. 6:30 p.m. Sponsors need to be there with students to practice for the Confirmation Mass. If a sponsor can’t be there a parent should plan to fill in.

·March 20: Holy Thursday (7 p.m.). After the Mass of the Lord's Supper, parishioners will have an opportunity to spend some time in quiet prayer in the Chapel of Reservation with the Blessed Sacrament held in the north Sacristy off the Altar area of the church. Those students who have not yet participated in a “prayer experience” should plan to come to this. It would be wonderful if parents and sponsors would come as well.

·March 21: Good Friday (7 p.m.). The confirmation class will take a BIG role at this service. Our students will do the readings, help with cantoring, and a few will assist the priest with the cross, etc.

If you or sponsor or student have a conflict or problem with any of this, please do not hesitate to call one of us immediately!

Confirmation Preparation Dates:

March 16: Seder Meal be there at 4:30. (for students and sponsors)

March 17: Communal Penance time?

March 19: Confirmation Practice 6 PM

March 20 - 22: Triduum (Holy Thursday 7p.m., Good Friday7 p.m., Easter Vigil 8 p.m.)

March 23: Easter (8 a.m. and 10 a.m.)

March 30: CONFIRMATION MASS 1:30 p.m. Second Sunday of Easter
